Last weekend the famous Albert Road in Southsea played host to Icebreaker Festival and 11islouderthan10.com ventured beyond the confines of the M25 to capture it all.
It was great to see so many packed out venues playing host to the best up-and-coming artists in the Portsmouth and the surrounding areas, with attendance figures no doubt helped by the fact everything was super convenient for festival goers. The largely pub venues were so tightly grouped together that you barely walked more than five minutes all day and there were plenty of top eateries on the doorstep too when it was time for a curry break.
Bhunas and pints of Cobra aside, among the many musical highlights was a headbanging swansong from theatrical metallers Sahara Snow, led by the soaring vocals and charismatic charm of robed frontman Luke Mills, and Four Folds Law getting the crowd bouncing with an energetic set as the day drew to a close.
